1) The author retains the copyright of their work. By submitting to our magazine, authors grant us the non-exclusive right to publish and distribute their work in digital formats, and potentially print at a later date.
2) We require first serial rights, which means we have the right to be the first publisher to publish the submitted work. After publication, all rights revert back to the author. The work is yours!
3) By submitting, authors grant us the right to archive their work on our website and any affiliated digital archives.
4) If the author wishes to have their work reprinted elsewhere after publication in our magazine, they must acknowledge our magazine as the original publisher or inform us. We are happy to welcome work that has been already published elsewhere also, but please make a note of this in your submission. Authors may submit their work to other publications simultaneously, but they must notify us immediately if their work is accepted elsewhere.
5) Authors have the right to be credited as the original creators of their work and to maintain the integrity of their work.
6) Minor editing for grammar, punctuation, and style may be performed by our editorial team. Significant changes will only be made with the author’s approval or not made at all.
7) Authors may withdraw their work from consideration at any time before publication by notifying the editorial team in writing.
