Bio: Shu J. Liu (they/them) is a teen writer from Canada who loves poetic and dystopian stories. They have been or will be published in multiple literary magazines, such as Rewrite the Stars Review, Evanescent Magazine, and Bitter Melon Review. Their hobbies include listening to music, watching shows, and playing with their two cats. Apart from that, they can also be found doodling eyes in between math questions or admiring the sunset from afar. In the future, they hope to work in a field involving mathematics or writing. Alistair Gaunt (they/he/she) is a Filipino queer non-binary poet born in Southern Philippines. Their writing contemplates the queer experience, violent desires, peculiar dreams, death, grief, and catharsis. When not writing poetry, she spends the rest of her free time painting, reading, making coffee, traveling, and watching sunsets collapse into dawn. Maeve (she/her) is an Indian teenage writer who mostly writes stories of the dystopian genre. She has been writing since she was eight years old. Some of her favourite pastimes include, watching Gilmore Girls, reading books and discovering new music. Her current interests include : making lists, watching cooking videos and reading about marvel conspiracy theories. She posts mostly about her work in progress story, the books she reads as well as random trends she likes. 

 Eden is a UK based writer specialising in literary fiction. Studying creative writing at university, she aspires to become a book editor for a publishing house. Despite only recently discovering her craft, Eden has multiple projects under her belt including dark, psychological fiction, "The Charaders" and Greek Myth retelling, "The Heleniad." When she's not writing, she can be found binge watching the Cornetto trilogy with her dachshund, Billy.

Sophie (she/her) is a 17 year old Chinese-Canadian girl currently residing in Canada. She started writing at the age of 14 and enjoys writing overcomplicated outlines for her novels. She also enjoys writing poetry, and prose with a cherry on top of drawing and reading. Some sports she plays for fun are badminton, and in the winter time, she enjoys snowboarding down black diamond mountains. Aside from her hobbies, Sophie enjoys planning out her days as she buries herself in work while having an unending thirst for tea as she strives to dabble in Arts and Business as her future career, she hopes to be a manager in the HR sector.  

Not a dentist per se, but the literary equivalent of one. Unconventional? Maybe. The comparison stems from the prevalence of teeth as a motif in his works, and the challenge to make each rendition feel fresh. Currently a law student, he’s also working on his first book (which is essentially family baggage dressed in finery) with two poetry collections in tow. Eshal Naveed is a young poet and novelist currently working on the drafts of her initial novels while simultaneously composing poetry. In addition to her literary endeavours, she has a strong passion for swimming and mathematics. Eshal is also the founder and Chief Editor of The Scarlet Heir Magazine, where she oversees editorial operations. Sarah is an aspiring teenage author who is currently residing in the UAE. If she's not skimming through her math textbook, you'll probably find her trying to come up with a new idea for the next story she's writing. Having spent a lot of time around books growing up, she is currently working towards refining her writing skills, taking inspiration from the authors of her favourite books. Some of her other pastimes include: drawing and painting, and ofcourse, studying.

Aiji, a 16 year old queer masc identifying, he is an artist, graphic designer and writer, with a passion for fashion and STEM! He is the editor in chief and founder of writer girlies magazine, meow- meow zine, and his latest endeavor, drag in stem. He’s fascinated with animated medium and multimedia art, often seen enamored by edits by people his age,  when not studying or working for his zines he can be found cycling around the coast, as an ocean enthusiast! 

Lucas is an independent graphic designer with a passion for film, music, and art. With each and every one of his projects, he tries to incorporate themes that reflect the uniqueness of the human experience. In his eyes, design and art can carry immense meaning. He spends his time analyzing every miniscule and mundane detail of life, hoping to cultivate and transform their energy into something beautiful and grand, for energy can neither be created nor destroyed; it can only change form.

 Yasmeen is a creative individual with a passion for the creative arts. Currently studying Creative Writing & Journalism as her major, she is an aspiring journalist. She has a keen interest in the politics of the world and an insatiable curiosity in finding out why things are the way they are. Often inspired by the powerful individuals who have shaped and impacted humanity deeply, she has an interest in humanitarianism as well. Additionally, Yasmeen enjoys sketching when she feels inspired to.

This is Maegan Sy, a 15-year-old Chinese-Filipino (who doesn’t speak Chinese well) born in the United States and currently residing in the Philippines. She’s aspiring to be a STEM student and finds joy in both reading and writing. When she isn’t buried in academic literature, you can catch her enjoying her favorite novels and fanfictions. Maegan also loves collecting random trinkets and proudly considers herself an ‘anik anik’ girl, as they say in the Philippines.

Pilate is an activist and writer who is currently leading one of the US states for the political organization Progressive Victory. She has written and/or edited a number of times for Knee Brace Press, Ardent Literary, and Silk&Ink Magazine. She will happily read out the works of Sylvia Plath, Snodgrass, or Poe over and over until you’ve both memorised them and until you’re probably sick of it. She has loved poetry since she could speak english (14 because second language) and deeply cares about people and animals - especially her gorgeous calico cat, Cheetah.

Brooke is an English Literature and Creative Writing student based in Bath, England. She is a writer who spends most of her time in cafes and bookshops. When she isn’t reading, she’s busy obsessing over Star Trek, comic books, animals, films, TV shows, and superheroes.
