Meet the Editors!

Kia Ayesha Sinan is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Luxury Literature Magazine. She is the proud author of two poetry anthologies and the contemporary novels Ambition and Thin White Lies. Her writing is a careful consideration of the human condition and the many manners in which it may manifest. A lover of ritual, she is a self-described media consumer and creator, a duality which is an effective summary of her daily practices. Generally, you can summon her with a mention of classic literature (for extra effect, try the slam words Oscar Wilde); if this turns out unfavorably, you can find her at @dvcadqnce.

 Anisa Daniel Oniko is a sixteen year old author, aspiring editor, VOFG ambassador and logokinetic currently based in the UAE. Her first published work was a play, placed in a school anthology circa 2016. She’d much rather you focused on her debut and sophomore books, Double ‘A’ For Adventure and Further in Florien, released in 2018 and 2021 respectively. In 2019, Double ‘A’ was long-listed for the NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literature, which is most likely her most impressive achievement. Anisa’s third novel is a stellar-punk sci-fantasy scheduled for a late 2023 release, and she can be found trying to make a living out of words from the comfort of her living room. Yes, she made the word stellar-punk up. No, you shouldn’t mind. Instead, you should find her @anisathescribe on Instagram and Tiktok, or summon her with cookies and a book deal.

Naysa is an aspiring Indian economist. She likes reading fantasy and psychological books, but her favorite series is the Lord of the Rings series by Tolkien. She likes to write fanfiction, but has yet to finish a work completely due to self-described laziness. 

Bio: Shu J. Liu (they/them) is a teen writer from Canada who loves poetic and dystopian stories. They have been or will be published in multiple literary magazines, such as Rewrite the Stars Review, Evanescent Magazine, and Bitter Melon Review. Their hobbies include listening to music, watching shows, and playing with their two cats. Apart from that, they can also be found doodling eyes in between math questions or admiring the sunset from afar. In the future, they hope to work in a field involving mathematics or writing. Alistair Gaunt (they/he/she) is a Filipino queer non-binary poet born in Southern Philippines. Their writing contemplates the queer experience, violent desires, peculiar dreams, death, grief, and catharsis. When not writing poetry, she spends the rest of her free time painting, reading, making coffee, traveling, and watching sunsets collapse into dawn. Maeve (she/her) is an Indian teenage writer who mostly writes stories of the dystopian genre. She has been writing since she was eight years old. Some of her favourite pastimes include, watching Gilmore Girls, reading books and discovering new music. Her current interests include : making lists, watching cooking videos and reading about marvel conspiracy theories. She posts mostly about her work in progress story, the books she reads as well as random trends she likes. 

 Eden is a UK based writer specialising in literary fiction. Studying creative writing at university, she aspires to become a book editor for a publishing house. Despite only recently discovering her craft, Eden has multiple projects under her belt including dark, psychological fiction, "The Charaders" and Greek Myth retelling, "The Heleniad." When she's not writing, she can be found binge watching the Cornetto trilogy with her dachshund, Billy.

Sophie (she/her) is a 17 year old Chinese-Canadian girl currently residing in Canada. She started writing at the age of 14 and enjoys writing overcomplicated outlines for her novels. She also enjoys writing poetry, and prose with a cherry on top of drawing and reading. Some sports she plays for fun are badminton, and in the winter time, she enjoys snowboarding down black diamond mountains. Aside from her hobbies, Sophie enjoys planning out her days as she buries herself in work while having an unending thirst for tea as she strives to dabble in Arts and Business as her future career, she hopes to be a manager in the HR sector.  

Not a dentist per se, but the literary equivalent of one. Unconventional? Maybe. The comparison stems from the prevalence of teeth as a motif in his works, and the challenge to make each rendition feel fresh. Currently a law student, he’s also working on his first book (which is essentially family baggage dressed in finery) with two poetry collections in tow. Eshal Naveed is a young poet and novelist currently working on the drafts of her initial novels while simultaneously composing poetry. In addition to her literary endeavours, she has a strong passion for swimming and mathematics. Eshal is also the founder and Chief Editor of The Scarlet Heir Magazine, where she oversees editorial operations. Sarah is an aspiring teenage author who is currently residing in the UAE. If she's not skimming through her math textbook, you'll probably find her trying to come up with a new idea for the next story she's writing. Having spent a lot of time around books growing up, she is currently working towards refining her writing skills, taking inspiration from the authors of her favourite books. Some of her other pastimes include: drawing and painting, and ofcourse, studying.
