our categories: poetry, prose, creative non-fiction, art

at luxury literary magazine, we have very few criteria that you need to meet to be published with us. however, we do ask that you follow these guidelines as strictly as possible in order to cultivate a safe, equal environment for us all. we do not have differing guidelines per issue, just general rules for all interested parties to follow. see them below.

1. hate speech is not tolerated. we will not accept any work that promotes racism, religious discrimination, ableism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of hate speech. if you have exhibited such behaviors in the past and/or have submitted a piece that was published by us that indicates such conduct, we reserve the full right to reject your piece henceforth. similarly, include content warnings if your piece contains any sensitive subjects.
2. please do not submit your work via email, but only through the open submission document (linked below).
3. if you are submitting a multilingual submission, please ensure you include an english translation. 
4. you may submit up to two pieces of work in each category (our categories are listed above), but not more than. poetry and prose pieces should be maximum one thousand words, but if your piece is longer, contact us and we can exception it on a case-by-case basis. 
5. we ask, for your own safety, not to include any identifying information in your work. similarly, refrain from including defamatory content in your submission if referencing an individual.
6. do not use artificial intelligence or generative tools in your work: we value your intellectual and creative labor.
7. we do accept previously published work, but please ensure you list the whereabouts of the publication. we do not consider removal requests following publication, but you are able to request a withdrawal at any point before that. we accept simultaneous submissions too; if the other party gets back to you with acceptance before we do, please do let us know - we'd like to congratulate you! 
8. please note that submissions heavily dependent on specific visual formatting may be more difficult to accommodate in our publication format. all poetry/prose/creative non-fiction must be submitted as a pdf or a google document. all art submissions must be submitted in a pdf, png, or jpg format, and all works must be adequately labelled. please submit your works as individual files if you submit more than once. we accept all forms of work as long as it broadly fits under one of our four categories, listed above.
